Rangehood Requirements

Range hood installations must have a minimum distance above the cook top. This may vary depending on if the stove is gas or electric.

Its recommended that a decent light and removable grease collectors be included as standard features with your new rangehood.

Extraction – How much is enough?

Depending on how many burners / heat plates are on your cook top can determine what appliance suits your needs best. The size of the room, how much you’re cooking, what type of food you cook and how often also come in to play.
